The Ylläsjärvi fiber optic cooperative has received EU rural development funding for a project that aims to expand the existing fiber optic network to Kurtakko and Jauhojärvi.
The current fiber optic network reaches the Kotarova intersection. From Kotarova, the fiber optic will be laid along Ylläsjärventie towards the village of Kurtakko. A fiber optic cable will be brought to the edge of the plot for all subscribers.
Fiber optic will also be brought to Jauhojärvi.
