Loimu Resort

Loimu Resort is a high-quality accommodation and experience place in Ylläsjärvi, at the foot of Yllästunturi, just a stone’s throw from the diverse activities of Ylläs. The new resort, opening in July 2025, combines the peace of nature, high-quality accommodation and local experiences into an unforgettable whole.

The resort has seven stylishly decorated rooms, each with an unobstructed view of Ylläsjärvi. The accommodation includes breakfast, a morning sauna and the opportunity for a refreshing morning swim. The rooms have a private bathroom, high-quality toiletries and a coffee maker.

Restaurant Loimu serves the best flavors of the season from local ingredients, in an atmospheric environment with 46 customer seats. In the sauna and wellness area you can relax by the smoke sauna, electric sauna, jacuzzi and avanto – private shifts can be booked for all guests.

Ski and sledging trails starting from the Loimu Resort yard take you directly into the enchanting nature of Lapland. The daily SkiBus provides easy access to the slopes of Ylläs and the services of Äkäslompolo. The area offers excellent opportunities for observing the Northern Lights, thanks to the early switching off of the village lights.
